Susan C. Michael

Susan C. Michael, 95, née O'Neill, formerly of North Wildwood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at Complete Care at Brackenville in Hockessin, Delaware. Born and raised in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, Sue lived a long life marked by quiet strength, devotion to family, and a warm presence that touched everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lawrence W. Michael; her son Francis J. Michael; daughter-in-law Nancy K. Michael; son-in-law Charles Stinglin; daughter-in-law Maria Michael; sisters Mary and Margaret; and brother and sister-in-law Frank and Floss O'Neill.

Sue is survived by her children Lawrence J. Michael, Richard T. Michael, Mary Ann Hand (Lew), Patricia S. Stinglin, and Holly A. Michael, as well as ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one on the way. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Before retiring, she worked at Henny's Restaurant in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where she became well known for her exceptional potato salad and her kind, steady nature that made guests feel at home.
