Sunil Puri

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Sunil Puri (Rockford, Illinois). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Amarnath Puri and Chanchal Rani Puri; and his brothers, Harish, Dilip and Dinesh Puri.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Candace Ross; his children, Ashwin, Chandan and Anjali; his brothers, Vijay (Vandana) and Pravin (Suman); his sisters-in-law, Savrina and Madhu (India); and his siblings' children, Bharat, Tanuj (Mexico), Tushar (Canada), Ujwal (India), Rakhi, Sakshi, Upasana, Prerna and Roshni (India).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the City First Church (5950 Spring Creek Rd, Rockford, IL 61114). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Puri Foundation to continue his work supporting women and children affected by abuse and poverty and helping combat food and shelter insecurity around the world.
