Sue Parker Standifer

Sue Parker Standifer, age 85, of Carrollton and formerly of Bremen, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Born on August 14, 1940, in Tazewell, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Buck and Pauline Parker. Sue devoted forty years of her working life to Sewell Manufacturing Company. A lifelong and passionate University of Tennessee sports fan, she embraced all things Big Orange with enthusiasm and joy. Above all, she cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, offering them unconditional love and steadfast support.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Standifer, and her brothers, Archie Parker and Clyde Louie Parker.

She is survived by her children, Bill and Cathy Standifer of Bremen, Kent and Suzie Standifer of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Gail and Joe Monari of Carrollton; her sisters, Judy Estes, Juanita Honeycutt, and Nancy Honeycutt; her brothers, Eddie and Peggy Parker, and James and Pam Parker, all of Tazewell, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Meri and Kyle Sampson, Anna and Thomas Thompson, Susan and Chase Davis, Bob and Blake Andrews, Will and Hunter Standifer; six great-grandchildren and one due to arrive on March 13, 2026; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
