Sue G. Crow, 89, of Bay City passed away March 6, 2026. She was born April 14, 1936 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Larence Green and Grace Wilson Green.She was a dedicated community leader and longtime real estate professional in Matagorda County, working in the industry for more than 50 years. Even into her late 80s, she continued working with Full Stringer Realty and mentoring local agents.She was deeply involved in civic and community organizations including the Matagorda County Birding and Nature Center, Tourism Council, United Way, CASA, the Bay City Main Street Program, and many others.A devoted member of First Methodist Church of Bay City, she served in numerous roles such as Church Council Chairman, Sunday School member, greeter, and organizer of pastoral visits for the sick. Her church community described her as quietly dedicated and genuinely committed to serving others.Throughout her life she helped organize many local events and fundraisers, remained active on community boards, and even at age 89 continued volunteering at community events.She received numerous awards and recognition during her career and for her community service, though she remained humble about her accomplishments.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Ray Crow and her brother Lawrence "Corky" Green.Survivors include daughters Karen Meier & husband Keith and Kimberly Riley & husband John; grandchildren Alli Kate Aparicio & husband Homer and Logan Ford; great grandchildren Andi Kate Aparicio and Homer Aparicio IV; nephews Larry Green and David Green and numerous great nieces and nephews.A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 16, 2026 at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Chris McNeill officiating.Memorials in her name may be made to the Matagorda County Birding & Nature Center or the Fist Methodist Church.
