Stuart Shaffer

Stuart Shaffer of Dracut, Massachusetts, passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by his parents, Eileen B. Trachina and Malcolm E. Shaffer, and his stepson, William “Billy” Shaffer.

He is survived by his children, Evan Shaffer and his wife Megan of Pelham, New Hampshire, and Dana MacDonald and her husband Eric of Methuen, Massachusetts; his siblings, Marc Shaffer and his wife Patricia, and Kimberly Sullivan and her husband Michael Sullivan, all of Victorville, California; his close friend Patricia Shaffer and her partner Lauren Smith of Plaistow, New Hampshire; his brother Scott Tranchina of Texas; and his grandchildren, Noah, Nathan, Isla, Cameron, and Avery. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Stuart will be remembered for the quiet strength and steady presence he brought to his family and friendships, and for the deep bonds he shared with those closest to him.
