He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sandness and Delores Sandness (Wollerman). He is survived by: his wife Linda Sandness; his daughters, Ashley Sandness and Skyla Sandness; and his grandson Carson Follette. He is also survived by his three sisters and four brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Crandall Funeral Home (800 Uinta St, Evanston, WY 82930).
