Steven Rimmer

Steven Wayne Rimmer - age 67, was surrounded by family and friends during his time of passing on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Steve was an avid gun collector and enthusiast, and he enjoyed participating in local gun shows with his many friends. He was dedicated to all the friends he made across the south during his many years working in the car industry. He enjoyed travel to St. Augustine and Daytona with his family. He had a deep love for all animals, especially his pets; he loved to adopt and find forever homes for dogs and cats at the shelter. Steve faced the final illness with unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Alvin Rimmer and Wanda Bitner Rimmer Huff; stepfather, David Huff; mother-in-law, Edith Rader Harris; and his loved dog, Macy. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Rimmer; brother, William (Kathy) Rimmer; grandson, Justin Rimmer; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Phil) Inscore; brother-in-law, Edward Rader; and father-in-law, Billy Rader. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Bridges Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Rev. William Rimmer and Pastor Mike Sauls officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 AM on Thursday at Asbury Cemetery for a 12:00 PM Graveside Service. Pallbearers: Joe Wallace, Michael Carden, Jim Milsaps, Rick Hancock, and Shawn Brown. Honorary Pallbearers: Kenny Endinger, Rick Bush, Mike Grubbs, Huseyin Yilgin, and Caleb McCarroll.
