Steven Ray Fite

Steven Ray Fite, 62, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born on March 12, 1963, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, he was the son of Raymond and Wilma Walker Fite.

Steven grew up in Chester, South Carolina, and graduated from Lewisville High School, where he played in the band. He went on to own and operate several grading and asphalt sealing companies over the years. He found great joy in fishing, boating, racing, and most of all, spending time with his children.

He is survived by his mother, Wilma Fite; his children, Braeden Fite and Emmelynn Fite; his sisters, Linda Wilks and Kathy Garrison; and his companion, Teri Judy, and her son Dylan. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Fite, and his sister, Crystal Fite Dragone.
