He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Sloan and Joanne P. Torres (Kelly); and his brother Timothy Sloan. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Salter, Steven Sloan Jr. and Zachary Sloan; and his siblings, Sue Sloan-Berlin and Daniel Sloan. He is also survived by grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 3765 Chili Ave, Rochester, NY 14624.
