Steven Casselman, aged 62, passed away suddenly at his home in Ottawa. Born in North Bay, Ontario, he lived in Ottawa, Niagara Falls, and returned to Ottawa for his final years. A patient, affectionate, and hardworking man, Steven consistently placed the needs of others before his own. His compassionate nature, warmth, and witty sense of humour touched everyone he met, leaving a profound impact on those who knew him.

He will be remembered for his love of laughter, his endless supply of dad jokes, his passion for travel, and his unwavering devotion to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Steven’s caring spirit and genuine kindness will be deeply missed by all who shared in his life.

He is survived by his loving wife Lynda, stepchildren Kayla and Dayton, granddaughter Calysto, his father James Casselman, brothers Kevin (Karen) and Tony (Nina), sister Jennifer (John), nephews Christian, Dalton, and Gregory, nieces Loreli, Chelsea (Jon), and Courtney (Jack), and his beloved dogs Bella and TT. His mother, Ada Casselman, predeceased him.

Steven’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and extended family at MacEwen Petroleum and the National Capital Mopar Association. A life well lived, he leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will never be forgotten.
