He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Cheney and Derold Cheney. He is survived by: his sister Susan Brown (Ricky Cheney); his wife Lori Chaney; his sister Sue Brown (Thomas); his nephew Casey Brown (Cassie); his great-niece Amanda Leeper (Wayne); and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Kedrowski (Pat), Arizona and Shirley Van Ord (Eddie).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bridgeview Room.
