Steven Jensen ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home on Mar. 9, 2026.BURLEY – Steven Bruce Jensen, age 78, of Burley, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his home in Burley.Steven Bruce Jensen was the youngest of three children. He was born on July 20, 1947 to Wayne Kenneth Jensen Sr. And Alice Marie (Johnson) in Rapid City, South Dakota. He grew up and married Phyllis Marie Cornish, they later divorced. He then moved to Reno, Nevada, to be closer to his brother. While in Reno he met Cathy Neyhart and later married her in 2015. In June of 2016, they moved to Buhl, Idaho and lived there for a number of years before moving to Burley in 2022. They resided in Burley until his passing.Steve loved NASCAR and spent many long hours watching not only the races, but practice and qualifiers as well. He enjoyed looking at antique cars, and tinkering with them. He also enjoyed fishing. Steve loved all animals and tried to befriend any that he came in contact with. He befriended a feral cat that would jump on his lap with him when he would sit outside.Steve is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Wayne Kenneth Jensen Jr. "Doc", and his sister, Sandra Lea Daniels. He leaves behind his wife, lots of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He loves his family very much, and his face was always glowing when talking to all of them.
