Steven Alan Brazeau

Steven Alan Brazeau, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. A much-loved father, he leaves behind his children Kevin Champagne, Alexandra Brazeau, and Jessica Brazeau. He is survived by his siblings Nancy DeBie and James Brazeau, and was predeceased by his sister Katherine Poirier. Steven was the son of the late Barbara and Omer Brazeau.

He was a cherished uncle to Robert Gillespie, the late Michael Gillespie, David Stevenson, Sarah DeBie, Christopher Brazeau, and Kyle Brazeau. Steven will be deeply missed by many friends and family members, including Tanya Brazeau, Renee Champagne-Flynn, Kenny and Theresa Brazeau, his cousin Stacy Sillio, and his lifelong friend Maurice Richard and family.

Steve will be fondly remembered with a beer in one hand, a cigarette in the other, and his signature black toque on his head. A reliable friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand, he brought laughter wherever he went. Those who knew him will miss his humour, his generosity, and the way he touched their lives.
