Steve Roberts

Steve Allen Roberts, 58, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away on March 15, 2026, in McAlester. Born on June 20, 1967, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Pearl and Albert Roberts, Steve lived a life deeply rooted in faith and simple joys.

A devoted member of the First Assembly of God in McAlester, Steve found profound meaning in his spiritual walk. He cherished the memory of his baptism by Brother Burnside, an experience that remained a guiding light for him throughout his years.

Steve found pleasure in painting, completing puzzles, and riding his moped. Those who knew him remember his free-spirited nature and the special times he spent palling around with his mother. He is survived by his mother, Pearl Roberts of McAlester; his brother Earl Roberts and wife Linda of McAlester; his sister Sheila Roberts of McAlester; his brother Michael Roberts of McAlester; his nieces Patsy Roberts of Wichita, Kansas, and Jessica Roberts of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his great-nephews Braden, Malaki, Henry, and Hudson; his great-niece Savayah; and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Ray Roberts; his paternal grandparents, Lillian Higgins and Henry Carson Roberts; and his maternal grandparents, Helen and Harold Linn.
