Steve Michael Moore

Steve Michael Moore, born June 22, 1959, in Jasper, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on March 9, 2026.

A devoted son, Mike attended Marion County High School and worked at Wheland Foundry. He found joy in watching football, hunting, fishing, and playing pool. Though he carried a gruff exterior, those who knew him recognized the kind heart beneath. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Marie Moore and Jess and Nell Coppinger; his father, Steve F. Moore; his sister, Vicki Reed; and his wife, Virginia McNabb.

He is survived by his mother, Jerry L. Coppinger Moore. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
