Stephen Thomas Kidd Sr.

Stephen Thomas Kidd Sr. passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 7, 1954, in Oneida, Tennessee, he lived a life grounded in hard work, family devotion, and simple joys.

Stephen moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he worked as a construction worker and carpenter. He took pride in his craftsmanship and was always ready to help family and friends with home projects. A dedicated father, he coached his children in soccer, teaching them the values of teamwork and perseverance. He found deep satisfaction in yard work and outdoor tasks, and he loved listening to 90s country music, Elvis, and Barbra Streisand.

Above all, Stephen cherished time with his grandchildren, who brought him his greatest pride and joy. He was an active member of his community, serving as an auxiliary member of the VFW Brownsway, and remained a loyal friend to many.

He is survived by his children, Katana (Chuck) Hayden, Ashley Kidd, and Amanda Kidd; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother Rick Kidd; nephews Eddie (Ammi) Kidd and Jason (Christina) Kidd; and niece Chrissy Kidd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lena Kidd, and his brothers James Kidd, Eddie Kidd, and Billy Kidd.
