He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gohlke and Cleo Schmalriede Gohlke. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Gohlke; his son Jarad Gohlke (Carlee); his stepson Ryan Crawford (Shalan); his siblings, Marsha Johnson (Steve) and Norman Gohlke (Debbie); and his grandson Jadon Ray Gohlke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (10801 Farm To Market 929, Gatesville, TX 76528).
