Stephen Pennington

Stephen Pennington, 67, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on February 26, 2026. Born on October 7, 1958, he was the son of Herman L. Pennington and Joan Clitheroe.

Preceded in death by his mother, Joan Sisk, his father, Herman Pennington, and his nephew, Jay Heartherly, Stephen is survived by his stepfather, Win Sisk; his wife, Michelle (Gore) Pennington; his sons, Stephen D. Pennington Jr. and Christopher R. (Christa) Pennington; his daughters, Kathy “Kat” Pennington and Paula (Brandon) Garner; his brothers, Richard (Debbie) Pennington, Darryl (Edna) Pennington, and Winland Sisk; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was a devoted father who cherished his children and grandchildren. He found joy in listening to country music, spending time outdoors camping, and fishing. A skilled mechanic, he took pride in working on cars.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
