Stephen Anglin ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hernando Funeral Home on Mar. 10, 2026.Stephen Miles "Steve" Anglin, 69, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.Steve spent the last 35 years of his life in Horn Lake, Mississippi. His formative years were spent in New Jersey and Chicago before he moved to Memphis as a teenager. He graduated from Raleigh-Egypt High School and later attended Memphis State University. Steve also proudly served in the United States Army Reserves for eight years.He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Wanda Anglin, and his two beloved sons, Joshua Anglin of Orange Beach, Alabama, and Chase Anglin of Nesbit, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sue and Arthur Anglin, as well as his brother, John Clyce, and his sister, Suzie Ross.Steve worked in the casino industry for more than 30 years, where he built many friendships and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. Outside of work, he was an avid tropical fish hobbyist and loved spending time on the water with friends who shared his passion. He also achieved a first-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, reflecting his dedication, discipline, and strength of character.Steve will be remembered for his love of family, loyalty to his friends, and the many memories he created with those who knew him. His community of family and friends is warmly welcomed to attend the memorial service to celebrate his life.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Steve's memory.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
