Stephen Juette

Stephen Lee Juette, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on Friday evening, March 6, 2026, in Edgerton, Ohio, at the age of 78. Born in Lima, Ohio, on May 14, 1947, to the late Howard and Jeanne (Parrish) Juette, Steve was a longtime resident of Defiance and a 1965 graduate of Defiance High School. He took great joy in collecting many things, with a particular passion for Hot Wheels cars. A devoted dog lover, he cherished the companionship of several dogs throughout his life.

Steve is survived by his brother, Lawrence (Karen) Juette of Lambertville, Michigan, his nephew Andrew (Lisa) Juette of Sylvania, Ohio, and their children Corryn, Emily, and Adelaide Juette of Sylvania. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Matthew C. Juette.

He will be remembered fondly by his family for his quiet presence, his enthusiasms, and the gentle love he showed those closest to him.
