Stephen Barry

Stephen M Barry, 71, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026 at home in Nashua, New Hampshire where he lived with his beloved wife Jacqueline L Barry. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 1, 1954, the son of John M. and Marie Barry.

Stephen graduated from Woburn High School in Woburn, Massachusetts and then went into the Air Force serving as a sergeant, serving at Luke Airfield Base in Arizona as a tactical aircraft maintenance specialist. After getting married and moving to Nashua, New Hampshire, he worked as an electrician at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for 34 years before retiring on April 1, 2022.

Stephen was an avid fan of the Patriots and Celtics and hosted super bowl parties each year with his good neighbors and friends. Stephen loved camping with family and friends, his favorite trips including Nova Scotia, Bar Harbor, Vermont, Pennsylvania and Georgia. Every summer for the past 40 years he and his long time close friends and family camped up in North Conway, NH where they enjoyed the Saco River, annual turkey dinners in a handmade oven and relaxing by the fire. Stephen also enjoyed his trips overseas with his wife, where they traveled to Ireland, Scotland and a river cruise that went to Amsterdam for the tulip festival and Germany, France and Switzerland. Stephen was known for being a hard worker, and throughout the years, helped various friends and family with home improvement projects. He helped anyone who needed him, like snowblowing the driveways and walkways of surrounding neighbors after storms.

Stephen was survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline L Barry, with whom he just celebrated 40 loving years of marriage; his daughter, Heather Barry of Nashua, NH and his daughter Laura (Barry) Razor and son-in-law Andrew Razor of Pembroke, NH; his two best friends and brothers, John Barry and his wife Joanne of Billerica, MA and Paul Barry and his wife Sara of Dracut, MA; his three sisters, Mary Barry of Worcester MA, Kathleen Ferrone and her husband John of Woburn, MA and Michelle Murphy and her husband John of Billerica, MA; and his close cousin, Catherine Nelson of Brockton, MA; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, including his Goddaughter, Candice Romero and husband Jose of Salem, NH. Stephen was predeceased by his brothers, Kevin and Thomas Barry; his sister-in-law, Diane Barry; and youngest sister, Donna Barry Giannelli.
