Stephanie Ruth Crist Bowers

January 16, 1948 March 15, 2026

Fayetteville, NC

Stephanie Ruth Crist Bowers, fondly known as “Nana” and “Kitty Granny,” passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. Born on January 16, 1948, in Lynchburg, Virginia, she lived a life centered on quiet devotion to her family and her community.

For more than thirty years, Stephanie built a successful career in real estate and property management, approaching her work with the same warmth and care she showed in every aspect of life. A woman of deep Christian faith, she found lasting joy in studying and teaching the Bible and in her active participation in Sunday school. She graduated from high school in Lynchburg and continued her education with classes at the University of Maryland, nurturing a lifelong love of learning.

Above all, Stephanie cherished her family. She took great pride in creating a loving home and found her deepest happiness in gathering loved ones together, especially during the holidays. She was an avid gardener who found peace in tending her plants, enjoyed cooking for those she loved, and shared a special bond with her beloved pet, Kit-Kat. Her kind heart, steady guidance, and generous spirit touched everyone around her.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Glenn Lee Bowers; her children, Brandon Bowers and his wife Heather, and Lindsay Collins and her husband Darrin; and her grandchildren, Kyler, Cailin, Belle, Ella, and Bryn. Her steadfast love remains a cherished part of all their lives.
