November 21, 1965— March 5, 2026
Thomasville, NC
Stephanie Gail Perry Boyd was born on November 21, 1965, in Thomasville, North Carolina, to Maxine Douglas Perry and the late Shelton Perry. She transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal heavenly home on March 5, 2026.
Stephanie graduated with the Class of 1984 from Thomasville Senior High School. She went on to earn a BS in Business Education in 1990 from East Carolina University, where she pledged Sigma Gamma Rho. Committed to a career caring for others, she later graduated from Brookstone College in 2006 with a certificate in Medical Assisting and Office Technology. She worked at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Pediatrics in Kernersville.
Stephanie possessed a vibrant soul and a positive outlook on life. She was rarely found sitting idle, with her hands always busy cooking or sewing baby blankets and burp cloths. She took great pride in her handmade gifts, believing deeply in their power to express love.
She was preceded in death by her father, Shelton Perry, and her brother, Charles Perry. Stephanie is survived by her beloved daughter, Nia Perry, of the home; her mother, Maxine Perry of Greensboro, North Carolina; two brothers, Scott (Alatiesha) Perry of High Point, North Carolina, and Matthew (Doretha) Perry of Fayetteville, North Carolina; special friends Loleta Brown and Keisha Cocobutta, along with her YMCA family; two special nieces, Aaliyah Perry and Michelle Perry; one special nephew, Michael Perry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
