It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephanie Jill Riggs (Maysville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Arnold Riggs; her stepfather R. L. Williams; and her grandmother Doris Riggs. She is survived by: her husband Brian A. Young; her children, Aloni Hargett of Maysville and Noah Hargett of Morehead City; her mother Diane Williams of Maysville; her aunt Sandra Adams; Jamie Riggs of Chile and Brandon Armstrong of Pamlico.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Methodist Church (2045 Belgrade-Swansboro Rd, Maysville, NC 28555). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Swansboro Moose Lodge 1425 (161 Norris Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jill's memory to the Swansboro Moos Lodge 1425.
