Stella was born on May 26, 1945 to the late Henry and Lucinda Fields Eldridge. She spent time working as a press operator at Rockcastle Manufacturing. She was a member of the Crab Orchard Christian Church. She was a part of the women's missionary union and enjoyed the ladies Sunday School Class. She enjoyed the beautiful outdoors, and loved to travel.
