Stanley Wec

Stanley Wec, 76, of Central Falls, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Kent County Hospital in Warwick. He was the husband of the late Teresa (Sojka) Wec.

Born in Poland, he was the son of the late Julian and Czeslawa (Czyzowicz) Wec. Stanley lived in Central Falls for many years, having previously resided in Pawtucket. He built a long career in the textile industry, serving as plant manager at Elizabeth Webbing in Central Falls, then at ACS Industries in Woonsocket, and later as a partner in K & W Webbing, Inc. in Central Falls.

A member of St. Joseph Church in Central Falls, the Pulaski Society, and the Wallum Lake Rod and Gun Club, Stanley found deep satisfaction in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener who truly embodied the spirit of an outdoorsman.

He is survived by his son, John Wec and his wife, Urszula, of Pawtucket; his granddaughter, Victoria Wec of Pawtucket; and his siblings, Wieslaw Wec of Central Falls, Edward Wec of Central Falls, Roman Wec of Smithfield, Jerzy Wec of Cumberland, and Krystyna Kozlowski of Johnston.
