Stanley Hoff ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Lindsey Chapel on Mar. 16, 2026.Stanley Paul Hoff, 91, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Sycamore Run in Millersburg.He was born on July 25, 1934, in Greer, Ohio, to the late Paul and Vera (Shaffer) Hoff. Stanley was raised in Loudonville and graduated from Loudonville High School in 1952. He enlisted in the Army and served from 1954 to 1956. Upon returning from the service, he met and married the love of his life, Elizabeth "Cookie" Utterback, on September 12, 1959. Together, they raised a daughter and son, sharing 36 years of marriage until Cookie's passing in 1995.Stanley worked in maintenance for several years, first at the Flxible Company and ending his career with Mansfield Plumbing Products, retiring in 1996.Stanley was a member of the Loudonville Baptist Church. Growing up, he enjoyed playing baseball and later coached several years for the Loudonville Youth Association. He was an avid golfer, loved fishing, and also served for many years on the American Legion Color Guard.He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (David) Drown; his son, Michael Hoff; his nephew's family, Chris, Edira, and Grant Hoff; his sisters-in-law, Gerry Hoff and Sally (Don) Hallam; his brothers-in-law, Ken Utterback and Stanley Carnegie; and several nieces and nephews.Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Cookie; brother, Gary Hoff; brothers-in-law, Noel Utterback Jr., John (Sue) Utterback; sisters-in-law, Patricia Carnegie, Margaret Daye, and Joann Utterback.Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Snyder Funeral Home – Lindsey Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Pastor David Bowles. Burial will take place at the Loudonville Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stanley's honor may be made to The American Cancer Society or the Loudonville First Baptist Church.Snyder Funeral Home – Lindsey Chapel is honored to serve Stanley's family.
