Stanley Joseph Szczepanski, Jr.

Stanley Joseph John Szczepanski Jr., age 70, of Joppa, Maryland (formerly of street, Md for 24 years) passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026.Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Stanley Joseph John Szczepanski, Sr. and Catherine Elizabeth (Heckner) Szczepanski. Stanley was the beloved husband of the late Victoria Szczepanski, with whom he shared 45 long years of marriage prior to her recent passing earlier this year.Stanley proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a printer for many years, retiring in 2012 due to cancer. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Stanley was a faithful member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hickory for 24 years. He also had a special love for his three-legged canine companion, Peggy, who will miss him dearly.In addition to his wife and parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his sister, Marie.He is survived by his children, April Brown and her husband David. Samantha Szczepanski, and Bryan Szczepanski and his wife Jessica; his grandchildren, Callie Szczepanski, Skylyn Brown, and Craig Szczepanski; and his brother, Michael Szczepanski.Interment will be held at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.Stanley will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the quiet joy he found in life's simple pleasures. He will be forever missed.
