Stanley G. Eskow

Stanley G. Eskow, of Liberty Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2026, at the age of 71.

Born on August 5, 1954, in Newton, New Jersey, Stanley was the son of the late Andrew and Josephine Eskow (née Zukoski). He worked for many years as a maintenance technician for the Jefferson Township School District, where his strong work ethic and remarkable ability to repair nearly anything earned him lasting respect. A true jack of all trades and gifted handyman, Stanley took deep satisfaction in working with his hands and helping others. He was an avid hunter, tracker, and gardener who also loved to cook.

Known for his quick wit, fondness for jokes, tall tales, and funny stories, Stanley possessed a hearty sense of humor and a trickster’s heart. Above all, he cherished his children and expressed his love for them in everything he did. Those who knew him will remember him as a kind, hardworking, and good man.

He is survived by his loving children, Steven VonGrimm and Jessica Eskow; his sisters, Gloria Eskow and Rose Eskow; and his brothers, Andy, Eugene, Joseph, and Raymond Eskow. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by other beloved family members.
