Stan Shafer

Stan Shafer, 61, of Nashville, Indiana, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on November 6, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Margaret Drennen and Stanley Shafer.

Stan was known for his generosity, compassion, and quiet strength. Raised in Indianapolis, he graduated from Warren Central High School and later attended Lincoln Technical Institute. He took great satisfaction in mechanical work, enjoyed riding ATVs, and cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Kitina Shafer; his mother, Margaret Leyenberger, and stepfather, Harold Leyenberger; his sisters, Alecia Connelly (David), Amelia Clarkson, and Amanda Campbell; his brother, Jeffrey Shafer (Deborah); his daughters, Mandy Shafer and Brandywine Thomas; his sons, Seth Shafer and Brandon Shafer; and his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
