Stacey L. Morrison, 49, of Dresden, died Sunday March 8, 2026, at the Ohio State East Hospital after a lengthy battle with Crohn’s disease.
She was born April 18, 1976, in Zanesville, she was the daughter of Mike Ziemer and Susan Kelly Gibson. Stacey was a graduate from John Glenn High School and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 399. Stacey was a basket connoisseur selling baskets for over 25 years, most recently with her husband at their shop in Dresden. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and volunteering in her community. Above all else she loved her family, her husband and the apple of her eye, her son, Bransyn.
Surviving is her husband, Rodney L. Morrison, father, Mike ( Sherry) Ziemer; mother, Susan Gibson; son, Bransyn Morrison; daughter, Stacey (Kyle Noland) Morrison; a granddaughter, Helena Morrison; sister, Kendall (Andrew) Jones; brother, Dodson (McKenzie) Gibson; two nieces, Lilah and Peyton Jones, and a special niece, Javin Gatrell,; a close friend, Jeanie (Kevin) Spears; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Stacey was preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Jamie Ziemer; paternal grandparents, William and “Ike” Ziemer; maternal grandparents, Ruth and Eugene Kelly; step father, Glenn Gibson; mother-in-law, Dorothy Morrison; brother-in-law, Greg Morrison; and a special cousin, DJ Collins.
Respecting Stacey’s wishes, no services will be held at this.
