Stacey Burke

Stacey Lyn Burke, born June 8, 1968, in Lewiston, Maine, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, in New Haven, Connecticut, surrounded by those who loved her.

Stacey graduated from Mercy High School and later earned her Bachelor’s degree in English with honors from the Honors College of Southern Connecticut State University. She found great joy in animals and nature, and she was known for her skill as a cook, her talent for knitting, and her dedication to running marathons. Professionally, she worked at SNET, where she took great pride in her work.

She is survived by her mother, Karen Demetriades and her husband William, her stepmother Michelle Macauda, her sister Jessica Burke and fiancé Jerry Walter, her sister-in-law Leslie Burke, her nephew Lucas LaCroix, and her niece Zoe Burke. Stacey was greeted in heaven by the loving arms of her father, Richard Alan Burke, and her brother, Seth Alan Burke.
