Sowbhagya Lakshmi Vadlamudi

Dr. Sowbhagya Lakshmi Vadlamudi lived a life defined by unconditional love, intelligence, and quiet strength. Devoted to her husband, Madhusudana Rao Vadlamudi, for 59 years, she shared with him a partnership rooted in deep friendship and mutual respect. A respected physician, she practiced Rehabilitation Medicine with pride and integrity for 35 years in Chicago, earning the admiration of colleagues and patients alike.

Her children, Lata and Viswes, were the center of her world, and she took immense pride in her grandchildren, Sai, Nishita, and Nishita’s husband Troy. Lakshmi cultivated a wide circle of family and friends who cherished her for her generosity, honesty, sharp humor, and determined pursuit of happiness. Her presence brought warmth and encouragement to all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and example.
