Sophie Glover ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by The Wood Mortuary, Inc. - Greer on Mar. 9, 2026.Sophie Lubas Glover, 106, wife of the late Henry Burton Glover, passed away March 9, 2026.A native of Northbridge, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Peter and Caroline Klocek Lubas, she was a homemaker and a member of White Oak Baptist Church.Surviving are two sons, Ronald Burton Glover of Salem, South Carolina and Richard Walter Glover (Janis) of Gatlinburg, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by a son, Robert Henry Glover, four brothers, Walter Lubas, Frank Lubas, Henry Lubas, and Leo Lubas, and a sister, Stacia Baxendale.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Oak Baptist Church, 1805 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, South Carolina 29609.Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
