Sonya Ayres, age 67, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born on March 10, 1959, in West Union, Ohio, to the late Floyd and Audrey (Davis) Grooms.
Sonya is survived by her husband, Tim Ayres of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; her brother, Rick Grooms and Ann of New Richmond, Ohio; nieces Teresa Grooms and Nan Grace; nephew Jason Grooms; and several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, sister, and aunt who cherished her family and the many lives she touched over the years.
