Sonia Caridad Molina

Sonia Caridad Molina, 82, of Hamilton, New Jersey, passed away on March 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the Greenwood House in Ewing, New Jersey. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, by her parents Teodoro and Milagros Tejeria, Sonia later built a life in the United States with her husband Manuel. Together they operated the Park Cafe in West New York, New Jersey, for thirty years, where Sonia worked tirelessly bartending, cooking, and serving customers while raising her family. A resilient woman, she survived a stroke at the age of 52 and continued to embrace life with strength and determination.

Sonia loved to dance and was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox. She found joy in collecting angels and drew comfort from her strong faith. Above all, her children and grandchildren were her greatest source of pride, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Daughter of the late Teodoro and Milagros (Hernandez) Tejeria, wife of the late Manuel Armando Molina, and sister of the late Teodoro Tejeria, Sonia is survived by her children, Elisa Molina and her wife Charin Cetkowski, and Armando Molina and his wife Veronica; her grandchildren; a great-grandson; her sister, Mercedes Veitia; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
