Sondra Jane Bass

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sondra Jane Bass of Dunn, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Sondra Jane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sondra Jane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Bevie Parker Raynor; and her sister Donna Barefoot. She is survived by: her husband Graham Bass; her children, Tyler Bass, Kasey Dudley (Colt), Lee Bass and Sueanna Bass; her grandchildren, Reece Dudley and Sadie Dudley; and her sisters, Gail Edwards (Jerry) and Laura Lee Raynor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose and Graham Funeral Home (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Whittington Family Cemetery (510 N T Whittington Ln, Dunn, NC 28334).
