Skyler Griffin ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by A Better Place Funeral & Cremation Services on Mar. 4, 2026.Skyler Weslee Griffin, 32, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on February 25, 2026, in Arapahoe County, Colorado.Born on October 3, 1993, he will be deeply missed by his parents, Autumn and Jeremey Griffin, and his brothers: Colton Lee, Justyn Layne, Hadyn Chase, Jordyn Chandler, half brother Michael. He is survived by his son, Skyler Weslee Griffin II; his first love, Sarah Rene; and his daughter, Brooklyn Marie. He also leaves behind his close cousin Ashley Griffin, his uncle Shawn Henderson, his Uncle Shane Beesinger, and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins. Skyler was fiercely loyal to his close friends from childhood in Lubbock, who he loved and considered family, and they will miss him dearly.Skyler was an amazing artist with a wonderful sense of humor. He had a passion for collecting a variety of things, which he would creatively use to accessorize and express himself. This unique way of presenting himself was a perfect match for his personality, making him a truly beautiful soul. His smile, which was as bright and awesome as the sky, will be remembered by all who knew him.Skyler will be cremated and brought home to Lubbock. A memorial service to honor his life will be held at Mackenzie State Park. The date and time will be announced on social media in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Skyler's name to a Fentanyl awareness charity of your choice.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
