Leo Peter Cachat, S.J., who died on March 14, 2026 at St. Joseph Trinity Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. He was 92 years old. May he rest in Peace.Leo is predeceased by his parents Leo Peter & Zita Joliat Cachat, his brothers Louis, Edward, Francis, Victor, and David Cachat, his sisters Alice Cachat and Mary Therese Kramer. Leo is survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.Leo was born on April 27, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio. Leo is a graduate of Ignatius High School Cleveland, Ohio class of 1951. He entered the Society of Jesus on September 1, 1954, at the Milford Novitiate, Milford, Ohio. He was ordained a priest on March 20, 1966 in St. John Parish, Kurseong, India.
