Rebecca B. Bacots, 76, of McComb, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. Born on January 1, 1950, in McComb to Virgil and Georgia, she lived a life rooted in faith and service.

A longtime member of East Fernwood Baptist Church, Rebecca served faithfully on the Usher Board, as a dedicated prayer warrior, and on numerous other church committees. She was also employed for many years at Croft Metals. Those who knew her remember her quiet strength, her devotion to prayer, and her commitment to her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Bacot; a daughter, Lakisha Bacot; and two brothers, Tommie Bullock and George. She is survived by one daughter, Metilda (James) Addison; one grandson, Elijah Bacot; three sisters, Annie (Henry) Pittman, Virgie Issac, and Mary Brown, all of McComb; two brothers, Bobby Bullock and Oliver Bullock, both of Tylertown; one sister-in-law, Charlene Bullock of Pontiac, Michigan; a special son, Micheal (Katherine) Smith of Tylertown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
