Sidney Lee Brogan Sr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Lee Brogan Sr. (Gonzales, Louisiana), who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Nezat Brogan and Robert Albert Brogan; his former wife Helen Ruth Brogan; and his siblings, Joel "Tookie" Brogan, Robert "Bobby" Brogan and Jean Stephens.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Brogan; his children, Deborah (Todd Kling), Sidney Jr. (Debbie Brogan), Betty Ann (Kenneth Milton), Linda Landrum (Kent Gautreaux) of Sorrento and Neal (Michelle Nett); his grandchildren, Lynde (Matthew), Rebecca (TJ), Laura (Derek), Brandi (David), Sydni (Chase), Jacob and Britnee (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Breelyn, Hayden, Zach, Cooper, Reese, Shelbi, Lane, Emma, Logan, Jaxon, Scott, Hunter, Ethan, Andy, Chandler, Sawyer, Helen Rose, Brylee Ruth and Alex; and his siblings, Thomas Brogan, Sr., Sonny Brogan, Bill Brogan and Joyce Hebert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ourso Funeral Home (13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, LA 70737). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
