Sibyl Blondell Morrison Bolton

Sibyl Blondell Morrison Bolton, age 82, of Henderson, Tennessee, passed away on March 8, 2026, at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born on December 6, 1943, in the Montezuma Community of Chester County, Sibyl was the daughter of the late Robert Wesley and Hazel Bell Hearn Morrison. She attended Chester County Schools and later completed beauty school to become a licensed cosmetologist. She worked at Goldsmiths, Macy’s, and Wesley Jackson, while also operating her own shop for a time. She took genuine pleasure in making her customers feel beautiful through her work.

Sibyl enjoyed reading, making jewelry, cooking, watching TBN, and keeping up with fashion and beauty. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. A woman of deep faith, she loved Jesus and was a faithful member of The Gathering Place in Gadsden, Tennessee.

She is survived by her son, Barry Brandon Bolton (Joy) of Henderson, and her daughter, Daphne Hunt (Rusty) of Henderson; two grandchildren, Adam Hunt and Zane Bolton; two great-grandchildren, Coady Wadley and Sladen Hunt; a sister, Teresa Rose of Jackson; and a brother, Dwight Morrison of Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings: brothers Robert Morrison and Glenn Morrison, and sisters Alice Fay Patterson and Imogene Williams.
