Shnell Miller-Wade

Ms. Shnell Miller-Wade, 56, of Millry, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at her residence. Born on March 31, 1969, in Chatom, Alabama, she was the daughter of Prentice Powe Miller, Sr. and Tomie Nell Williams Miller. She devoted her career to public health care, serving her community with quiet dedication.

Shnell was preceded in death by her father, Prentice Powe Miller, Sr., and her sister, Leathie Shnaye Musgrove. She is survived by her mother, Tomie Nell Miller; her son, Miller Wade, and his wife Lily, all of Millry; her daughter, Dayla Brown, and her husband Lane, of Fruitdale, Alabama; her brother, Prentice P. Miller, Jr., known as Peck, of Millry; and four cherished grandchildren, Cooper Brown, Chipper Brown, Whitley Wade, and Bodi Wade.

She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother whose love for her family remained steadfast throughout her life. Her presence brought warmth and strength to those closest to her, and she leaves behind a legacy of care that will continue to live on in her children and grandchildren.
