Shirley May Robinson

Shirley Robinson of Oak Park, Illinois, passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on July 20, 1939, in Belize, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ina Broaster.

For more than 35 years, Shirley served as a Nurse’s Aide, devoting herself to the care and comfort of others with compassion and quiet dedication. Her warm laughter and gentle spirit brought joy and solace to everyone around her. In her quieter moments, she found pleasure in music and audiobooks, often filling the air with her singing.

She is survived by her seven children, Windmark, Rodney, Bernard, Pamela, Yvette, Anthony, and Wilbon; her siblings, Rudolph, Carol, Christobel, Linda, Wayne, Deborah, and Glenford; and many grandchildren. Shirley will be remembered for her caring nature, her enduring laughter, and the love and service she gave so freely throughout her life.
