Shirley May Fellrath

Shirley May Fellrath, née Ryan, 94, of West Milford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Born on July 8, 1931, in New York City, she was the third daughter of James and Mary Lillian Ryan, née Hochstein. As a young woman she embraced athletics, especially basketball, and in later years found joy in playing card games, all forms of crafting, and traveling, with special fondness for visits to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Caribbean cruises. A proud first-generation Irish-American, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother.

Predeceased by her beloved husband John, her parents, and her older sisters, Shirley is survived by her daughters Linda Anderson and her husband Bill, and Allison Eardley and her husband Mike, as well as her cherished grandchildren Ryan and Kassidy, Justin and Krystle, John and Regina, Alyssa and Luke, and Kyle.
