She was born on November 4, 1935, in Marland, Oklahoma, to Dell Lee Sanders and Tillie Re Etta Freeman Sanders.Shirley enjoyed bowling and participated in many leagues over the years. She was known as the "hummingbird lady" because of the special joy she found in caring for and watching hummingbirds. She also loved spending time with family and friends, hosting cookouts, and traveling across the country.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alan Jefferson; her daughter, Cynthia Jefferson; two brothers, Bob Cunningham and Rusty Sanders; and one sister, Leota Meyers.She is survived by her son, Tom Jefferson; her daughter, Stephanie Cline; her sister, Bonnie Bamberg; four grandchildren, Robert Clements, Jr., Crystal Downs, Randy Overton, Jr., and Heather Cline; and six great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery.Visitation will be held Friday from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
