Shirley Joines

Shirley Joines, age 79, of Madisonville, passed away on February 27, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 15, 1946, she was a longtime active member of Chestua Baptist Church and worked as a hairdresser for more than 50 years. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Shirley found deep joy in tending her garden and preparing meals for those she loved. Her table was always open, and everyone felt welcome in her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Henry Allen Joines; her granddaughter, Allison Beasley; her parents, Homer and Dorothy Worley; and her brothers, Paul Worley and Robert Worley. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Lea Ann Joines; her daughter and son-in-law, Renaye and Tony Beasley; her grandchildren, Monica Beasley, Anthony Beasley and wife Sarah Beasley, Paul Beasley, and granddaughter-in-love Alexis Beasley; her great-grandchildren, Hannah and Tatum; her cousin Rhonda Joines, who was like a daughter to her; her brother, David Worley; and several nieces and nephews.

Though her family’s hearts are breaking, they rejoice knowing Shirley has reached her eternal reward.
