Shirley Grace Dzik

Shirley Grace Dzik, 80, of Oswego, Illinois, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Born on January 8, 1946, in Chicago to Edwin and Shirley Landow, Shirley devoted her life to her family and took great pride in the loving home she created. She found quiet joy in working on puzzles, tending her gardens, creating intricate needlepoint pieces, painting ceramics, and losing herself in a good book. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her grandchildren, who filled her days with pride and delight. Each fall, she could reliably be found cheering on her beloved Chicago Bears.

Shirley is survived by her children, Tricia (Rob) Spadafore and Steven (Chrissy) Dzik; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Charlotte Spadafore, and Kyle and Sydney Dzik; her sister, Diane Newman; and her brother, Gary Landow. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 49 years, Stanley Dzik.
