Shirley Ann Washburn

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Washburn (Oak Hill, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances W. Bowen and Loredia Dale Bowen; and her siblings, John Bowen, Thomas Bowen, Frances Bowen McCune, Robert Bowen and Charlotte Bowen Armstead.

She is survived by: her children, Becky Arthur (Pat), John Washburn (Debbie), Jill Toney (Mike) and Keith Washburn (Laurie); and her siblings, Phyllis Lilly and Calvin Bowen (Brenda). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
