November 11, 1963— March 4, 2026
James Island, SC
Sherylynn (Lynsuemae) Falcettoni passed peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 62 after a brave and determined battle with cancer.
A native of John’s Island, South Carolina, she lived on James Island with her loving husband, Andrew Falcettoni. The two shared seven wonderful years together—years she often said were the happiest of her life—filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
Sherylynn was an extraordinary woman: strong, independent, and fiercely loving. She poured her heart into her family, her beloved animals, and everyone lucky enough to know her.
She was the mother of three children, including her late first-born, Derek McGrew (1998). She is survived by her children, Alisha McGrew and Brandon McGrew.
Her greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind six cherished grandchildren—Josie, Marisa, Glenn, Ryan, Eli, and Addi—along with her four beloved fur babies, who brought her endless happiness.
Sherylynn is survived by her brothers, Shawn McGrew, Steve McGrew, and Eddie Jackson, and her sister, Leigh Torrey. She also leaves behind her nieces, Daina, Stephanie, and Erica, along with a tremendous circle of family and friends who felt her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love. She was preceded in death by her mother and both of her fathers.
Sherylynn’s life was a testament to resilience, beauty, and boundless heart. She loved deeply, cared endlessly, and inspired those around her with her courage and determination. She will be remembered for her love of her pets, her kindness, her laughter, and the way she made every person she encountered feel seen, loved, and valued.
A celebration of life honoring Sherylynn will be held in Bieringville on April 11 at 2:00 p.m. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in Sherylynn’s memory to causes that were close to her heart.
Donations may be made to the Charleston Animal Society, which works toward a world without cruelty where all animals and people are treated with kindness and respect:https://charlestonanimalsociety.org/
Donations may also be made to PanCan Patient Services, which receives no government support and relies entirely on donor generosity to fund critical programs advancing pancreatic cancer research and improving patient outcomes:PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network)
Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and the love she gave so freely will never be forgotten.
